The Under Secretary, Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development, Mr. Benon Kigenyi today hosted a team of officials from Somalia who are in the country on a five day benchmarking visit on the mainstreaming of disability programming. Uganda is a global reference point for disability programme due to its interventions like the affirmative representation in Parliament and Local Councils, Special Grant for PWDs, strong legislation and policies.
