On Thursday 15th July. MTN Uganda in Collaboration with Smart Girls Foundation invited The Right Minister Honorable Betty Amongi Ongom to honor and participate in the opening of the MTN Foundation Skilling Facility to extend vocational and business skills to support “the girl child”.
Our Beloved Minister was pleased to witness a new era of this long-term partnership between MTN Foundation and Smart Girls Foundation driven by one goal to empower “the girl child” and also thanked MTN for taking such a bold step that will surely empower “the girl child”, though the provision of vocational and business skilling such as electrical installation, tailoring, carpentry among others. As Government, we wish to reiterate our commitment to supporting MTN Foundation.
I will therefore contribute with a donation of 10 tailor machines for school.
