Following Government’s approval of the national roll-out of the Social Assistance Grants for Empowerment (SAGE), preparations are underway at the Programme Management Unit (PMU) to ensure smooth implementation of the programme before end of FY 2019/20. This involves review of the current modalities to accommodate the anticipated large number of beneficiaries across the country. Currently ongoing is a workshop to review the Complaints and Grievances system, to enable the Secretariat monitor successes and identify challenges encoutered during the process and come up with solutions, going forward.
